With the coming of the 29th Olympics, Art of War™ staff and athletes are busy preparing for their upcoming matches. As a result of the Olympic Games and all the security measures imposed by them, Art of War™ Fighting Championships has been postponed for most of 2008.

BEIJING, CHINA - May 9th, 2008 - The world’s largest television audience will soon receive a weekly dose of mixed martial arts action. Starting on June 1st, martial arts fans in the People’s Republic of China will be able to tune into the Art of War Fighting Championship on Inner Mongolia Provincial Satellite TV.

Art of War™ FC is ushering in a historical moment: Wu Bin, China’s most famous Wushu master, pays a visit to AOW FC organizers. Master Wu is a world famous Wushu coach and he is also the master of Jet Lee, world renowned actor and Wushu practitioner, with many box office hits to his name such as Leathal Weapon 4 and Fearless.

On the afternoon of June 13th, journalists came to visit the Beijing Jiu Jitsu Academy. After he sat through one Jiu Jitsu class by head instructor Pedro Schmall, the journalist was very impressed.

First of all, AOW will be broadcasted on Inner Mongolia Satellite Television, however, as the result of the tragic earthquake in Sichuan province, the originally scheduled broadcasting time for Art of War program (June 1st, 2008) has been rescheduled to more appropriate time. Second, Beijing Jiu Jitsu Academy is now reopening to students.

When discussing the sports of Kick Boxing and MMA, people from boxing circles have strong opinions about these sports. They have no idea whether the above combat sports are just a flash in the pan, or will they really pose a threat to the time honored tradition of boxing.
